for his latest exhibition, the fashion photographer rankin will shoot and instantly print portraits of 1,000
people from the general public on site for the duration of the show. dubbed ‘ranking live’ the museum-scale
exhibition invited participants 13 and older to audition for the chance to have their picture taken by the
renowned photographer. each day, rankin will shoot participants for 15 minutes each, capturing their
personality and printing out the portraits to hang on the walls. the show blends traditional photography
with an aspect of performance. the photos are also available for viewing online.
