the elms lesters painting rooms in london will begin an exhibition of new work by artists DALEK and
DELTA nest week. the artists DALEK and DELTA are also known by their given name’s james marshall
and boris tellegen. both artist’s share similar geometric traits in their works. while marshall is a practitioner
of straight line and a superflat surface treatment, tellegan focuses on texture and shadows through layering
of paint and materials. the show is designed to display the similarities and differences between the two
artists. the show’s curator paul jones explained that the idea behind the two man show was to ‘challenge
and stimulate viewers'. both artists will be present at the opening on august 27, 2009.
