I don't know.... I believe it's ok. Yet, I would like that this could do a little bit more. I rather buy this one than any of the others.

Re: 4d
as with all our designboom competitions it is always difficult to select only 100 shortlisted entries. thanks for participating and we'd like to say good luck with your next competitions.

PSR, of course is not one of the chosen. Have you seen that entry? Not only is is a BAD design product, but the shape has been seen everywhere over and over again.
There is even a ceramic company that produces a salt+pepper shaker with that exact form.
The 100 shortlisted are supposed to be the 100 BEST. Not some random 100 entries. Fail...

lol.... like that guy said, that 4D is a complete fail. Ripping-off someone else's work.
Anyway, I like the 'olives-service'.

what happens if you have not been selected among the 100 shortlisted entries and you want to present your project to a company? you really have to wait other 6 months in order to do that?

Re: mdl
I didn't know that (about the ceramic company + pepper shaker). Can you show me that?
And I never wanted to ripp-off someone else's work (as john simon said).
I was just looking for an opinion (not the best way, I admit and I'm really sorry for that): guess I got it and I thank you for that.

if you are not chosen, I believe you can do anything, since your project has no interest at all both for Alessi and Peroni.

re: john simon
that's my thought too, but competion's rules say that there is a 6 months option on ALL the entries (and it's not specified in a further way, so, literally, are ALL the entries). That sounds very annoying, and even not really understandable.

to all participants,
regarding the 6 months option:
we have contacted all creators of the 100 shortlisted projects.
if you have not been contacted, this would mean that your work might be great,
but unfortunately you have not been selected by the jury.
in this case, you are of course free to continue to develop your design and to contact other producers.
there is no need to wait for 6 months to do so.
