rather than design a standard flat radio, teague set out to create a round radio that can change stations
by rolling around. the concept was developed by benoit collette and adam kumpf and encourages
discovery through spatial interaction. the radio takes cues from analog radios of the past, opting for
a more mechanical dial over an LED screen. users simply roll the radio around on a flat surface and
stumble upon different stations. if the find one they like they can add a small marker to the exterior
structure of the ball to remember the position. while the radioball is just a concept the prototype is
licensed under creative commons.
