wikitude



wikitude is a new turn-by-turn navigation system for the android platform that uses augmented reality.
the system works by attaching your mobile phone on top of your dash looking at the road. the application
then overlays video captured through the camera beside the route map. this allows users to literally drive
through their phone, watching the road even when they are looking at the direction. the app also has
voice commands for hand free driving. the phone’s GPS receiver gets all the location information and
can bee displayed without the live video feed.
