if MIT student natan linder has his way, next to every desk lamp will be his unique luminar project.
the luminar combines robotics with a small scale digital projector to create a unique table top interactive
system. the system projects images onto a flat surface like a desk and enables them to interact with
gestures. the design is mounted on an articulated robotic arm and can be used in combination with
a laptop, mobile phone or other digital devices. the luminar’s design can be projected on a blank surface
or overlaid onto objects, augmenting them with new information.
