USBtypewriter
USBtypewriter

for those not impressed by the onscreen keyboard functionality of the apple ipad, jack zylkin created
the USBtypewriter; a modified antique typewriter that inputs into an ipad. the USBtypewriter transforms
old typewriters for use in today’s digital environment. you can buy a pre-made version that hooks up to
any USB enabled device or you can buy a kit for making your own version. the design keeps the form
of the typewriter intact, with only a USB cord running out from behind. the design will act like an
external keyboard for a computer or with the ipad attached, it looks like it is printing right onto paper.
