despite the update on the iphone, RFID technology is still not a standard feature on the device. however
RFID readers are making their way to more mobile devices and this prototype media player is a sample
of what is possible with the technology. by attaching an RFID reader to the iphone, physical objects
with embedded digital tags can trigger certain commands such as playing a song or opening a document.
the phone acts as a lens, enhancing the physical world through virtual media. while the next iphone
update is some time away, this may be a feature apple considers.
