augmented shadow is an interactive design experiment by designer joon moon which uses tangible
objects to produce artificial shadows on a tabletop display. the project uses standard size blocks as
interaction devices, which play off the how shadows represent a distorted view of an object depending
on the light.  most of the blocks are solid white, but one of them is clear to represent the light source.
as the clear block moves around the shadows on the other blocks change accordingly. however the
shadows are not simply reflective of the blocks but are actually small houses which creatures living
inside. these creatures moves around in the shadow world and seek out the light. this project brings
a new dimension to table top augmented reality, imagining a whole invisible world lurking in shadows.
