ariel schlesinger: graffiti printer

israeli artist ariel schlesinger combines classic spray can graffiti with the some technological know-how
for his graffiti printer project. this unique device uses five individual spray paint cans to prints words
much like an inkjet printer. while it might seem that the device would use some advanced digital
technology, it actually inputs information using paper punch cards. each card is perforated with the
desired output text, written in five lines of pixels. the machine reads the card as it moves along
a wall, spraying the corresponding can to create a large scale version of the text in paint.

Interesting mechanism, great idea of implementation. Would be really awesome a colored version with a little more resolution to print some pixel art.
