pivot power strip
pivot power strip

pivot power is a new power strip that enables users to use multiple over-sized electric plugs at once.
the device is a direct response to the abundance of large brick-like cords that come with almost all of
the today’s digital gadgets. while the traditional straight power bar only allow one or two of these plugs,
the pivot power can be curved to use all six of its outlets at once. the design was developed by quirky,
an online community that ‘gives everyone the chance to get product ideas out of their heads and onto
shelves’. this is the site’s 44th product since launching just over one year ago. the pivot power is
available for sale on their site for 23 USD.

Simple but nice!

It is a nice idea...but I'm nearly sure that you could use all the plugs anyway even if you keep it straight, because actually in this case what makes them fit is the distance between the plugs(it is bigger) and the the plugs conection direction(it is turned of 90 degrees comparing to the first one they showed). I would be curious to see a video where first they try it with the same pivot tower first straight and then turned.
