‘etta’ bicycle concept by nick foley

brooklyn designer nick foley has spent the last year working on an urban bike concept he calls, etta.
the bike has a semi-recumbent design with the rider pedaling in front of themselves and an upright seat.
etta places the rider much higher than most recumbent bikes, putting them on the same level as other
cyclists and motorists. the prototype design foley built features integrated front and back lighting that
are powered by pedaling and a cargo compartment for baggage or groceries. the leather seat is fully
height adjustable and gives the rider the chance to sit in a more relaxed, reclined posture. the bike
weighs around 20-25 pounds and is made from aluminum.
