the modern dj is most likely to be seen playing music form their ipod or laptop, but this concept by
psychic factory aims to bring dj-ing to the latest digital platform, the ipad. the concept dj station uses
a standard setup for a single unit with a large dock in the center for the flat-screened ipad. while the
unit itself has  scratchpads, cross fader and all the regular buttons and knobs, the ipad adds a whole
new dimension of interactivity. songs can be fiddled with to an even greater degree or the dj can add
their own music on top using a keyboard or instrument setup. although it is just a concept, this kind
of device will no doubt soon be a reality.
