wowwee roboscooper

people have been able to have small robotic devices vacuum their floors for a number of years, and now
the wowwee roboscooper saves them from having to collect larger objects left on the floor. the wheeled
robot picks up objects at its user’s command and loads them onto its back cargo space and eventually
transporting them to a set location. the unit can turn left and right and go in reverse. its two articulated
hands can lift a variety of lightweight objects either manually or using its infrared eyes to detect dropped
objects in its range. however if an object is too heavy for the roboscooper, it shouts out ‘too heavy for
me’. it runs on 6 aa batteries and weighs a solid 2 pounds.

I got one of those -- it's called a 3 year old :) and he can lift some pretty heavy stuff! Although sometimes he talks back a little.
