embeds the phone is a small black notebook. the case is created by pad & quill and is actually made
from a birch wood frame with a paper cover that is made to look like leather. the faux-notebook design

naf, another product for another bling product. How much waste is created during the CNC process for the sides? What's wrong with a soft neoprene or rubber case?

I think the odds of someone wanting to steal an iphone or ipad are less than someone wanting to steal a diary/little black book which might contain easily accessible personal information.

It's a knockoff of the DODOcase:

I love people that have to bag the shit out of everything. I like the idea whoever came up with it first.
wh   08.20.10
I agree, if you've got nothing useful to say, SHUT UP!
Stew   08.20.10
let's face it most people buy a iPhone because of it's looks, therefore a bit of a waste of time to then make it look like a (somewhat clunky) old notebook! I'd be interested to see what Mr. Ive would make of it!
SS   08.20.10
Their are a lot of phones that look like the iphone. I don't think people buy it just for looks. The looks of the OS probably attract people more but I have not seen any studies...
...would this look be considered shabby chic?
Adam Correa   08.20.10
I own the DODO case...in fact I am typing in it right now...and I think all of these cases are worth buying. Who cares who came up with it? Just buy the one that fits you, bamboo, birch, reclaimed doghouse wood... I chose bamboo for it's renewable growth but the concept is sound and most people are very surpassed when I start working on it.

They work well with the accessory keyboard too as the iPad is very easy to slip out of the case and slide into the keyboard. Love it! And highly recommend. Naysayers back off and go buy something less useful...I dare ya.
Magik Man   08.20.10
i like it.
the guy who says people are more likely to steal a notebook than a phone of ipad needs a reality check! ha ha ahaaaaaaaaahahaha!

Keep the critique and support comments coming.
The dialog is interesting. Otherwise it's hard to distinguish from marketing...

So I finally broke down and bought the iGlowPhone from Mobile Riot Gear

http://www.mobileriotgear.com/iGlowPhone-Color-s/147.htm because I keep seeing them all over the

internet. I must say I really like it, it just looks so cool. It really glows great and is definetly a

conversation starter. What is really cool is that when I got it in the mail MRG sent me a coupon for

their color wraps. These don’t glow but offer the same protection with a little more class. I mean, you

can’t take the glow everywhere. I ordered the red one. Here is the code, I hope you all enjoy:
