guuste hilte: tactile texting

as mobile phones become more reliant on screens with each new generation, many visually impaired
people are left out of the design considerations. tactile texting is a project by dutch designer guuste hilte
that is a simple easy to use physical keyboard input device. the design can be used by the visually
impaired or by anyone looking to text without necessarily seeing the keypad or screen.  the small device
has a simple white case that is scored with small indentations that allow users to feel their way around,
hitting the keys they need. the project is currently a sand alone device that would wirelessly communicate
with a mobile, but hilte hopes to see the idea integrated into mobiles in the future.

this seems like a great idea, the design chosen for it is rather mysterious but not convincing enough
