pas a pas is an interactive project by designer ishac bertran which serves as an educational tool for children.
the project enables children to learn by experimenting with different physical elements brought to life
through digital animations. the system utilizes the principles of stop motion animation to bring together
lessons on math, physics and arts. a platform displays and records the animations made using a series of
colourful blocks. users can look at existing animations, build new ones based on instructions or create their
own from scratch. different lessons are stored on removable cartridges which come preloaded or customized
by a teacher. these new lessons can also be shared with an online community built around the system.
