nicolas hubert: external refrigerator

in a short period of time, the refrigerator has become a staple appliance in the home, however its basic
design hasn’t altered since its early introduction. nicolas hubert changes up this design by proposing an
outdoor refrigerator. the concept was inspired by hubert’s 2-year stay in china, where many families store
food on their balcony in colder months to save space and energy. hubert has formalized this concept in
his fridge, which would mount on an exterior wall and slide out toward a window for easy access. in cold
weather the fridge would take advantage of the ambient temperature while in summer months is would
cool itself through solar energy, capture through photovoltaic cells mounted on the side.

Bad idea, i would like to see someone getting there food in the winter from fridge, open the windows and all heat from the room escapes, so you can use the fridge only 3 times a day at best. And what about rain and other weather conditions.
