samsung galaxy tab

samsung galaxy tab

samsung has just announced their first entry into the tablet computer category with a 7-inch device called the
galaxy tab. the device runs on google’s android 2.2 operating system. the device has an lcd display and weighs
only 0.8 pounds, much less than its main competitor, the apple ipad. the galaxy tab runs off a cortex a8 1.0-ghz
processor and comes with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera to capture
photos and video. the device uses 3g, wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity and also supports push e-mail. samsung
will launch the device in europe this september and in north america and asia later this fall.

I guess jp, u might get confused abt design typology of ipad.
its designed to communicate thru softwares, not function of a physical platform.
The look of the simplest hardware, Case, is just a case.
better think what the product really meant

...smaller than the ipad, less expensive, shows Flash animation, can telephone with it...sounds good to me...

Might want to check the price again kiddo's, so far it's being listed as a 2 year contract device. Without a contract the thing is more then 0 USD, with a contract it's 0. Lets wait to see how much those contract plans are per month - smaller then ipad and more expensive - whats up with that?
Only other thing, why does samsung brand there big fat name over everything?

I'd also consider the fact that samsung is neither a hardware or software specialist, I can't imagine what kind of tech support you might get with this thing. The iPad may be a bit more pricey but at least you can buy with the confidence that if anything goes wrong, it'll get fixed easily and without any hassle. Not to mention samsung hasn't got an app store neither.
