renault dezir

in addition to their compact twizzy, renault also unveiled the sporty dezir at the paris motor show 2010. despite its sporty
look, the dezir is an all electric two-door vehicle concept. laurens van den acker led the design with the ideas of falling in
love in mind. this theme finds its way into the car’s colour and aggressive curves. while the ev drivetrain can easily match
its gas powered siblings, the dezir also features unusual design features like the reverse hinged butterfly doors. the engine
measures 150 horsepower powered by a vertically-mounted 24kw/h lithium-ion battery. the car has a wide stance with
room for 21-inch wheels.

the structure and proportions seems to be inspired by the Audi R8 maybe they use the same platform
tom   10.13.10
Hot hot hot and one of the best and sleekest interiors that i have seen in a car.
Paul   10.19.10
excellent size and proportions. awesome flowing lines, not clunky like some German designs (R8). Great to see Renault are putting their best foot forward and showing off some future design direction. Hot stuff.
