studio aisslinger: grid + display flatscreen LED TVs

'grid LED TV', one of two flatscreen TVs designed by studio aisslinger for changhong electronics
designed by berlin and singapore -based studio aisslinger for china's changhong electronics company,
the 'grid' and 'display' flatscreen LED televisions use clean lines and uncluttered design in both the aesthetic
and technical basis of the devices, which connect to a separate electrical box for the integration of external components.
the unusual power button on both TVs consists of a small circular cutaway equipped with a small sensor,
into which a user inserts a finger to activate the device.
a separate module connected to the screen unit contains sockets for the connection of other audiovisual technology,
providing easier access to the outlets than is possible with a standard screen, wherein the ports are fixed to the back
of the device panel.

detail on the technical grid
'grid LED TV' earns its name from the exposed technical grid on its housing, offering the impression of a fabric
covering when viewed from a short distance, despite its industrial appearance when viewed from more closely.
