ricoh GR IV digital compact camera

the 'ricoh GR digital IV' compact camera

the 'ricoh GR digital IV' offers improved image quality, faster shooting, and enhanced custom shooting
options to the compact camera, appreciated for its ergonomic design and updatable firmware.

measuring 4.3 inches wide by  2.3 tall and 1.3 deep (108.7 x 59.8 x 32.5 mm) at a weight of approximately 6.7 ounces
(190 grams), the device features a 3-inch  high-brightness LCD monitor with automatic brightness adjustment,
providing improved visibility even in high-light surroundings. the device's user interface permits the searching
of photos based on their capture date, using a calendar display function.

an improved imaging processing engine, faster 'quick shooting' capacity, and new inclusion of dynamic range compensation
all offer enhanced colour reproduction and image quality. featuring a 10-megapixel sensor witha  fixed 28mm F1.9 lens,
the camera is equipped with ricoh's new external autofocus sensor, which can track up to 190 AF points, which is pipelined
in parallel with the 'hybrid AF system to minimize autofocusing time. changes to the predefined image capture settings
include the addition of the saturation-lowering 'bleach bypass' to the device's existing options such as 'high contrast black
and white' and 'cross process'.  an 'autofocus continuous shooting' mode constantly autofocuses over the course of taking
video or image sets.

multiple exposure shooting permits the layering of up to five shots (with the option to also save each individually),
while an interval composite mode combines multiple images shot across a range of shooting intervals. the 'GR IV'
enables users to set twelve camera setting functions, each of which can be registered onto an SD card for easy sharing.
an innovative electronic level detects inclination in not only the horizontal direction but also the tilt via roll and pitch,
useful in photographing buildings and other vertical structures.

SD cards, and both ricoh rechargeable camera batteries and standard AAA.

I have the Ricoh GR III and I think it's really fantastic for a point-and-shoot camera. The speed and quality of the autofocus is actually the thing I notice as being of the greatest difference compared to other cameras, so am interested that it sounds like this is the site of the most upgrades for the GR IV. Would like to hear people's thoughts if they try it out in person.

There is no way that the stars rotate like that in only a 6 seconds exposure!
