nike+ introduces two new experiences connecting digitally enabled footwear with interactive mobile applications that deliver
a revolutionary sport experience through nike+ training and nike+ basketball.

nike+ training fuses the appeal of gaming with high-intensity fitness to create a training companion that turns the task
of working out into a game. the program is comprised of a series of short, effective workouts which are designed
to help users get fitter, faster and stronger. each of these workouts is demonstrated on-screen to provide guidance and motivation.
through each drill or challenge, data and feedback is delivered to the user's phone through the nike+ training app.
daily routines can be created based on how hard the athlete wants to train, the app providing a digital community to share
each day's workouts and challenges with. the app also allows workout statistics to be shared and compared among friends through social networks,
encouraging competition and challenges amongst one another through the display of a leaderboard.

nike+ basketball


nike+ basketball app measures how high, hard and quick players compete in each game through the 'track my game' mode.
the shoes record information on every movement during the game, delivering data back to the user to give them a basis
on what they can improve on in their next match. messages from nike basketball players and coaches give motivation
to individuals when goals are obtained. the nike+ basketball experience also offers 'showcase' mode',
a feature that allows players to record a dunk and superimpose their live data on video, which then can be shared with friends
via social media.

the first nike+ enabled basketball shoe will be the nike+ hyperdunk, and will be worn by lebron james in summer 2012,
while the first nike+ training shoes will be the lunar hyper workout+ for women and the lunar TR 1+ for men.
the shoes have new nike+ pressure sensors built in that collect information about the user's movement,
wirelessly transmitting data to their phone which is translated into different metrics providing them with information
about their workout or games that was previously unknown. this footwear will be available for purchase june 29th, 2012 in china,
france, germany, US and UK.
