red fluorescent cat cloned

researchers found a way to clone pet cats five years ago.
now they can play a trick on their genes to change their color.
a cloned turkish angola kitten, left, gives off a red fluorescence glow while
an ordinary one appears to be green in this picture taken under ultraviolet
light at a laboratory of gyeongsang national university in jinju,
south gyeongsang province, south korea, wednesday.
the cloned cat’s genes were modified with a fluorescent protein.
the red cloned cat research is expected to be utilized in dealing with certain
genetic diseases in animals and humans. it will also help reproduce rare animals,
such as tigers and wildcats, which are on the verge of extinction, the team said.

OMG!!! leave the animals alone. they can multiply on their own. God created them for a reason and if their purpose is to die and thats God's will, then let them.....i love animals and want to help them, but as u read, clones arent the real thing. SO STOP!!!!!!!

The thing about it is that it's not so much about "god's will" so much as our foolishness

why aren't clones the real thing? does 'god' look down on them too?

Next thing we'll do is clone entire ecosystems that are extinct due to human expansion..
imagine a whole population of glowing hedgehogs and frogs running and jumping around in our back-yards.. no need for outdoor lighting!!
cool :)
