korea to use robots to build high-rises



the korean construction ministry is planning to spend one billion USD to implement robots that can build high-rise
buildings, which will be in place by 2010. the plan calls to use the robots to help take over some of the dangerous
activities that are performed by skilled workers. the ministry expects that the 'intelligent cranes' will cut labour
costs and boost productivity thanks to 12 technology patents.
