the world's first real diving car

rinspeed will be releasing 'squba', the world's first diving car at the upcoming geneva motor show
(march 6-16, 2008). the car can drive on the road and also turn into an amphibious vehicle capable
of diving 10 meters into water. rinspeed boss frank m. rinderknecht was inspired by his love for the
james bond film, 'the spy who loved me', which also featured a diving car.

'an electric motor with powerful torque drives the rear wheels. the propulsion on the water
is ensured by two propellers in the stern and two powerful jet drives in the bow propel
the vehicle under water while diving.'
