honda‘s newest asimo robot looks like recent models but has been upgraded substantially with a more human-like mobility and social responsiveness. the latest version has a greater sense of environmental awareness, avoiding obstacles as they present themselves, voice recognition capabilities from multiple sources speaking simultaneously, the ability to walk on uneven terrain, great and lead visitors, communicate in sign language, perform complex tasks with the full mobility of individual fingers, and can now perform advanced physical tasks such as changing activities seemlessly, running at nine kilometers per hour, and even kicking a ball.
