its plug-in hybrid system, uses a 17.4 KWH lithium-ion battery allowing the vehicle to travel up to 53 miles (85 km) when cruising at averages of around 80mph (129 km/h). new advancements in sustainable transportation technologies, demonstrate the vehicle’s potential of reaching a fuel economy of 256.8mpg with CO2 outputs of just 26 grams/km.

built using blends of multi-material aluminium, carbon fiber and fiberglass-reinforced polymers act as the main structure for audi’s new space frame construction, resulting in a lightweight chassis weight of 1,390 kg with the battery pack. attached to the back  of the rear seats, the new interior boot configuration integrates a separate pan within the body structure that electronically shifts to provide an additional 40cm of flat storage for luggage or extra cabin space.
