the ‘ply’ mobile by KDDI au is a new phone concept which takes inspiration an unlikely source: plywood.
the slim mobile splits its various function between the various plys of the phone’s design. the phone is
the creation of barakan design and comes in a variety of colours. the dialpad, keyboard, gamepad,
touchscreen and projector are each given a tab on the side of the phone allowing the user to switch
functions easily. the projector function is perhaps the most unusual since the phone hinges to reveal
the mini projector hidden inside. the phone is just a concept so don’t hold your breath in anticipation.
