polaroid corporation unveiled its new instant digital camera 'pogo' this past weekend at the CES
(consumer electronic show) in las vegas. reinventing themselves for the digital age the camera
is based on the original instant camera the company began producing in the 1970's. so how does
it work exactly? using zink ink free printing technology the camera produces instant prints on
a special paper embedded with heat activated dye crystals. users can select digital photos on
their camera, crop and edit, then simply push a button and print a full color 2 x 3 inch print.
'pogo' will be available in march and is expected to retail for approximately 199 USD.
