now that CES has wrapped up, the barrage of smaller product launches starts to trickle in. here are
some of the lesser covered gadgets from this year’s show which were a little on the strange side.

the first is the 'QA' from anybots, a two wheeled self balancing robot. the design allows tele-presence,
giving people to ‘be’ in another place by using the robot to navigate and see thanks to its camera.
likewise, those in the location of robot can interact with the user through a screen embedded on the
bot. if anybots has there way, the future of company meetings may be a room full of robots.

but for the kids out there, mattel is releasing the barbie beautronics line combining beauty and
electronics. one of the first designs in the range is the digital nail printer which prints custom designs
on your finger nails in only a few seconds. the system comes with a collection of designs but user
can also design and upload their own creations. the system uses cosmetic grade inks printed with
thermal inkjet technology.
