T3 netpad
T3 netpad

T3 set out to create the ultimate mobile computer with the device concept they call the netpad. the concept
is designed by the UK design studio, the alloy with median and feedback from users throughout the design
process. the mobile device features a number of innovative features that set it apart from the competition.
for one, the display is bordered by two touch-sensitive info bars that feature hotkeys for doing common task
like launching applications of checking for new emails. the keyboard is retractable so the device can be
used as a tablet or a traditional laptop. the case itself is made from magnesium alloys, perforated aluminum
and carbon fibre, making it extremely light. the lid can also be used as a stand, perfect for watching video
or giving presentations. not sure if this will ever be available to consumers, but it does gives laptop makers
some inspiration.

Brian, you'd be singing a different song if there was an Apple logo stickered on the edge of it. When are the self-annointed Jobsian propagandists going to crawl back under their rocks?
Slick design, nice use of colour. I suspect I'd probably drop it, though, don't see a lot of ways to grasp it with one hand. It's portable, right?
