samsung has made a big step forward in making more sustainable devices with the reclaim, a mobile
made from 80% recyclable materials. the phone is a standard slide-out design with a casing made from
40% bio-plastics. the phone also comes packaged in a more sustainable form, using recyclable cardboard
and soy-based inks. the phone also has no polyvinyl chloride (pvc) or harmful phthalates and is designed
to use as little energy as possible when in use. while it is a big step forward, the ever-evolving digital
device market really demands more ecologically minded designs.
