prodigits bionic fingers
prodigits bionic fingers

the company touch bionics has developed the world’s first bionic finger for patients missing fingers called
prodigits. while bionic hands have existed in many forms, patients missing only some fingers haven’t
really had a solution. prodigits is a powered prosthetic that allows patients with partial hands to regain
their dexterity, making simple tasks simple and easy. because each patient is different prodigits adapts to
suit the user. the sockets are custom designed and built and can be made to replace anywhere from one
to five fingers. the company estimates that there are up to 1.2 million partial hand amputees worldwide
that could benefit from their device.
