this new robot is named after its remote controlled computer, which communicates with a PC wirelessly
over bluetooth. this feature allows the robot to have a more sophisticated processor without the added
weight or bulk or carrying it directly. for example, the remo comes with stereo colour cameras which
are accelerated with remote image processing capabilities. while the remo does have other interesting
features like pressure sensors on its feet for balancing, it lacks many of the human styling features so
common on other humanoids. the robot retails for around 4,500 USD, reserving it for only the most
enthusiastic fans.
