152 inch plasma TV by panasonic

image: engadget
now that CES 2010 is in full swing, we are treated to the release of giant TV screens, including this
152 inch monster by panasonic. the display is the largest on show at the annual technology fair in
las vegas. the screen is a full HD plasma that is capable of displaying video in 3D, making the new
display the closest anyone will get to achieving a cinema experience at home. the display may not
being hitting stores anytime soon, but showcases panasonic’s full HD 3D TV line. because of the
high energy usage of most plasmas, new laws are being introduced that may limit their sale and make
them a thing of the past. this means that 2010 may be the last year the highlight TV of CES is a
plasma. this display beat out the previous world’s largest plasma screen by an extra two inches.
