yogen green gadget charger



the yogen charger is a small device which uses a pull chord to produce clean energy for charging
mobile devices. the company showed off their clever green device at CES. to use the yogen charger,
the user simply plugs in their mobile device and begin pulling the small cord attached to one end.
the pulling motion produces energy which is transferred to the device, charging it up without batteries
or cords. the device is very practical, using a simple gear and human energy, instead of expensive
mini solar panels or high tech hydrogen energy packs.

Its a virtual duplicate of a flashlight i have, bought in China some years ago. I too wondered how it could kinetically power things other than its own light. So there it is. This very same tech was shown in Designboom recently, in the form of a man walking and the device attached to him was charging his phone. Its extremely simple and base tech but it works.
