casio go green watches



casio recently launched their go gree project, featuring environmentally friendly g-shock watches using
recycled packaging and solar powered technology. the new watches will come in three green colour
combinations designed to commemorate earth day’s 40th anniversary. the watches all feature casio’s
self-charging solar technology that does away with the need for batteries or winding. a small solar panel
on the watch’s surface powers a large rechargeable internal battery. the watches will come packaged in
100 percent recycled paper packages, a part of casio’s larger corporate environmental efforts.

I love the color of the mint green. It is great to wear. It seems casio really doing its part to go green to have a healthy environment.

seems to me a watch that is made our of plastic, which will end up in landfills and never bio-degrade, should not be called "green" no matter what shade of mint it is.....
