ipad sketchbook

apple released their new tablet computer the ipad this past week. the new device can run numerous
applications including autodesk’s sketchbook pro, which transforms the device into a digital sketchbook.
sketchbook pro was previously only available on computers with pen tablets and stylus-based tablet pc’s.
using the software on the ipad will be much different because drawing will be done with fingers instead
of a pen, like their sketchbook mobile system for the smaller iphone. the software features a variety of
tool options that range from digital pencils, pens, markers and airbrushes that all take advantage of the
ipad multi-touch gesture-based user interface. users can simply sketch loosely or produce high quality
renderings of designs, art and even architectural drawings. while many worry that ebook readers will
overtake the printed book, perhaps software like this will overtake the old-fashioned sketchbook.

I would hesitate to call it a computer. For those seeking a legitimate tablet computer, there are more viable options out there (sadly, none made by Apple.)

the Ipad isn't a tablet computer, in fact it isn't a computer. its a pad. where daily functions like, browsing, photos, mail, simple sketches, idea developments, point presentations, books, games, wireless midi controlling over audio and visual mixing. Fun stuff, dont have to wait 3 -5 mins till ur tablet or watever powers on, in about 5-10 secs, ur already in the program u would like to do, like thus ipad skecthbook, fantastic stuff.

Does anyone know if you can somehow use the wacom stylus with the iPad?
I can't see doing design sketches with my finger. It's way too big of an input.
Anyone else feel that way?
