the aptera 2e is an ultra-efficient three-wheel battery powered electric car that will be on sale at some
point this year. aptera motors has been working on the vehicle for many years, and setbacks have pushed
the release date back to some time this year. the car was designed from the ground up, focusing on
aerodynamics as one of its main efficiency measures. the car has an electric engine that is said to
accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 10 seconds and achieve a top speed of 137km/h. future iterations
of the car may include a plug-in hybrid engine, which would lower the cost and make it more practical
for a wider range of drivers. the car also features a solar panel on the roof, which will be used to run the
heat pump. the textiles and other materials used in the interior will be made from recycled materials and
organic dyes to further reduce the car’s ecological footprint.

I think is about time for we have some electric cars options available on market, at a reasonable price.

i would love it if it didn't fly so fast.!
for me one major problem of cars is their speed. the fact that you can not walk around the city safely because any moment you can be hit by a giant bullet and die.
i wish car designers really got out of the box and understood a modern car doesn't have to satisfy antique needs.
you don't need 137 km/h.. it is anyway illegal to drive so fast so...
this is a car for car fans, and car fans are speed freaks and they would still go for the harder stuff.
as an alternative car company i would completely focus on a different target market.
it's a relief though that finally something is moving in this conservative business.

This is obviously the car of the future. It just ticks all the boxes for us urbanites.
Now, they will however need to offer a family car too.
