phiaro: p70t conch



the p70t conch is the result of a collaboration between phiaro design consultancy
and japanese design students. the concept of the car comes from wanting to make
a public vehicle for the urban environment. the 1,830 lb three-seater is a lithium-ion
battery powered car meant to attract young people through features such as using one's
mobile phone as a start key. p70t conch is meant to be used as an urban mode transportation
in a taxi or car-sharing scenario.

I'm sure it's green and the features are wonderful...but style is timeless.

I think it's a complete failure. The blind spot on the A pillar alone should make it unacceptable for real use, not to mention the disturbing incongruous forms.
