amphibian velomobile
amphibian velomobile

this recumbent bike designed by david buchwaldek is capable of driving on both land and water.
the bike is a one off prototype that uses linear pedaling and hydraulic steering with an electric assist.
the fuselage is completely enclosed allowing the bike to drive straight into the water, where its small
propeller takes over to drive the vehicle. while the design is pretty novel, we are not sure why anyone
would need to commute on the road and in the water.
