which was transformed into a catwalk during a fashion show in beijing, china.

last friday fashion label fendi hosted held a runway show oat sunset on the great wall of china. a total of
88 models displayed designs by designers karl lagerfeld and silvia venturini fendi.

originally, the show was supposed to take place in may to showcase the fall/winter 2007 collection,
but fendi were unable to get a permit until six weeks ago. the entire wall functioned as a 1,500 mile
runway to re-display the fall 2007 collection, a first in fashion history.
