when chanel wanted to launch their new perfume scent chanel no. 5 ‘eau première’, they turned to french
interior designer jean-marc gady. gady is well known for his set designs, window displays and environments.
for the luxury perfume’s launch, gady created an experiential space inside of a private parisian apartment.
launch guests were encouraged to explore the completely decorated apartment. doorways were designed
in the shape of the perfume’s bottle and dramatic lighting led the way to testing stations. the scent of the
product was spread throughout the space
