'split box shelves' at design miami

designer peter marigold built a custom set of his 'split box shelves' for the design performances series at design
miami 2007. the installation was made from locally sourced mango and avocado trees. marigold cut the stalks
down on site and slowly assembled them and mounted them on the wall. the limited edition of 100 boxes made for
the event later found a home in a private residence in miami.
