fire works by ECAL at design miami / basel 2008
the university of art and design lausanne (ECAL) presented a collection of hand-blown
glass lamps by a selected group of 1st and 2nd year students from the industrial design
department, under the guidance of max lamb
(see also max lamb - designers of the future at design miami 2008)
in collaboration with matteo gonet, a young glass blower from bern.
each design is exploring the visual and physical properties of glass and exploiting
the potential of the glass blowing process.
