tokyo design week 08: designboom mart

we are back from the tokyo designboom mart!
for the fourth time in tokyo, designboom hosted a group exhibition
of around 40 international design professionals.
as part of the cultural program of 100%design tokyo,
once again, the designboom mart has proved to be a hit among visitors.

special light installation by kouichi okamoto from kyouei design, japan.
he has created the 'liquid lights' on the occasion of the tokyo designboom mart.
the lamp is designed with a dripping pattern that makes the product look like it is melting.
a series of the 'liquid lights' strategically hung above the designboom mart stalls.
visitors were able to buy design souvenirs™ and limited edition pieces directly from the designers themselves.
