thursday february 5th marks the beginning of the sixth annual come up to my room design exhibition.
the annual event is held in toronto’s historic gladstone hotel and features special installations within the
hotel’s rooms by local artists, designers and architects. the event is one of the main offsite design exhibits
that accompanies the city’s interior design show. this year’s show will feature a new crop of alternative
design installations showing off the best of canada’s contemporary artists and designers. in addition to the
exhibitions there will also be a panel discussion on ‘the origins of the designer’ in the hotel’s ballroom and
a number of other projects throughout the hotel. the event will run from february 5 to 8, 2009.
