one of the favourite exhibits from this year’s interior design show was ‘protoype: design for ideas for
the home’. this special juried exhibit featured objects by an international selection of emerging and
established designers. ‘prototype’ featured furniture, lighting and accessories that are produced in
limited edition or not yet in production. the high caliber of design objects shown represented local
canadian designers, as well as international talent from europe and the US. here is a selection of some
of the works that were on show.

Community Chest is a blatant rip off of Tejo Remy's design - 'You can't lay down your memory'.

You know with the Community Chest design i've seen heaps of variations of the theme.
So I don't reckon its a rip off Tejo Remy's design.

‘rebound chair’ by rebound - ummm, way too similar to Rubber Band chair by Tom Dixon. But not as refined I feel.
