as part of the cultural program of the 100% design tokyo designboom will host
a group exhibition of international design professionals from around the world.

now in its 5th year the tokyo mart 2009 will once again provide
an unprecedented opportunity to meet the young avant-garde and
become familiar with their work. visitors are able to buy design souvenirs™
and limited edition pieces directly from the designers themselves.

the designboom marts are truly international - designers come from over
40 countries, and partially cover the travel costs through the sales that
they make. over the intense days of exhibiting and socializing designers
have the chance to discuss their work with other like-minded professionals
from different cultural backgrounds.
